Felicity Jones is an British actress most popular for playing the role of Jane Hawking in the critically well-reviewed movie The Theory of Everything. Jones has been acting since her 12th birthday and has worked in multiple movies and television shows. She began by appearing in The Treasure Seekers, a TV film. Then in The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters, which was a sequel to The Worst Witch. In her first film Flashbacks of a Fool she played Young Ruth and went on to feature in several movies. She gained popularity for her acting in movies like The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. But it was her performance in The Theory of Everything' which earned the actress an Oscar nomination for the first time. The biopic is based on the life of physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was highly praised by audiences and critics due to her flawless portrayal of Hawking's former wife. Inferno was an Tom Hanks thriller was her next role. In 2016 The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles selected Jones as the British Artist of The Year for her talent and contributions to cinema.
