Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress best popular for her portrayal of Detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence as well as the role of Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama The Resident. Her work also garnered acclaim due to her breakthrough television debut role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap show Guiding Light. Her most notable movies comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a film by Vlas Parlapanides (the pair who created the Immortals) is thought to be on the way. The actress is currently filming the upcoming show Gods & Heroes.
